Presentation design and production process: How do we work with clients?
How long does it take you to complete a presentation?
For PowerPoint presentations, standard turnaround time is normally 3 to 5 business days. Higher-volume, outsourced clients receive faster turnaround. When available, rush turnaround is 48 hours or less and carries a 25% premium.
For Flash presentations, standard turnaround time is normally 5 to 15 business days, depending on the length and presentation features.
What do I need to get started? How do I get started?
The first step is to
request an estimate and have a 5-10 minute discussion about your Flash presentation or PowerPoint presentation in order to define project specifications. We will then provide an estimate for your review and approval.
If we are not providing any editorial services, we just need your content. You can send it as MS Word (or other) text, MS Excel spreadsheets, faxed hand-drawn slides, loose images or a preliminary, rough PowerPoint presentation,
If we are providing
editorial services, it is helpful to receive any collateral or other information you have (e.g. brochures).
Once you have approved the estimate and sent your content, we will call you to start the project.
Do you work remotely? Do we need to meet in person?
While we enjoy meeting with clients in person, it is not necessary to complete projects successfully. We use phone, fax, email, and FTP to work remotely with most all of our clients. In most cases, even when clients are located in our home city of New York, we don’t meet in person.
Will I see the presentation before it is complete? Will I have an opportunity to give feedback?
Yes, of course. We have an
iterative, incremental, collaborative process
that offers many opportunities to provide feedback.
