Your
Presentation Can Give You the Edge
Usually when it comes time to create a new presentation, we do one of two things.
We either decide that it is time for a complete cosmetic overhaul and find
ourselves re-inventing the wheel, or, we re-hash an old presentation and assume
that tried and true is the way to go. Neither of these approaches will give
you the competitive advantage you need to make the most impactful first impression
you can. Your presentation and packaging play key roles in making a strong
impression and even more in a prospect’s decision.
Know the Competition
The perceptions that you create will be compared to those of your competitors.
You don’t want to follow the herd, but it is a good idea to know what
the herd is up to. Before jumping to a decision about your presentation materials,
survey the landscape. You’ll likely find that at least some of your competitors
invest in high end collateral.
Case Study
Name: AGI
Industry: Logistics |
Type of Project:
Branding package: PowerPoint, web, print |
Problem:
Client wanted new identity to convey an established, corporate image through
a full set of marketing collateral.
Solution:
After establishing a color palette, we carried a design theme through all pieces
to effect a consistent, corporate brand. We extended the branding design through
collateral elements such as masked photo collages and hand drawn graphics and
diagrams. Final deliverables included a PowerPoint presentation, brochure,
web site, and business cards.
