Presentation content can be complex, especially when you have a lot
of information to get across in a short period of time. Don’t assume
your audience will “get it” easily. Poorly organized content leaves
people’s heads spinning and your message muddled.
The solution? Jump-start the effectiveness of your presentation by providing
a framework: an outline, or roadmap, of the presentation in text or graphic
form. Showing your audience the way – where they are, where they have
been, and where they are going — improves clarity, flow, and impact,
whether you’re introducing a new product, reviewing last year’s
numbers, or pitching a new client.
Advance knowledge of what will be covered improves content absorption and
prepares your audience with a mental map to organize — and remember — the
information that follows. When the message is a clear, they’re far more
likely to absorb it and take action.
Problem:
ADP needed to house a large number of PowerPoint presentations on one
intuitive, user-friendly CD.
Solution:
A self launching Flash menu was created that allows users to view only the
presentations they wish to see while hiding all secondary or supporting files.
