Description of Work:
Are you a graphic designer? Do you rock? We’re graphic designers who do PowerPoint. Unapologetically. Everyone thinks PowerPoint is a dirty word in the design world, and that’s just great with us. We do things in PowerPoint that most people don’t know are possible. Take a look. If you want to work in a dynamic, creative environment, expand your portfolio, and build up your design chops alongside a fantastically talented crew, give us a holler. We’ve got a huge range of clients and are looking for a great graphic designer who can attack a presentation with the same creativity she/he would a print or web piece. Don’t know PowerPoint? We’ll teach you. We are NOT looking for PowerPoint operators or word processors. Designers only, please. Preferably, designers who rock.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of several years’ professional graphic design experience
- Strong graphic design portfolio and the ability to adapt to a variety of client aesthetics
- Ability to conceptualize text and visualize information
- Experience working directly with corporate clients
- PowerPoint experience preferred but not required
Compensation:

Motion Graphics Designer
Description of Work:
Motion graphics designer wanted for presentation design firm. This is a full time position in our New York office. Our motion graphics presentations include advanced timeline based animation with moderate coding, and usually involve audio synchronization. Candidates must be fluent in Adobe After Effects, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, and ActionScript. Typical projects include tradeshow kiosk presentations and online service/product demos. Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of several years’ professional graphic design experience
- Strong graphic design and motion graphics portfolio
- Demonstrated experience working with corporate clients
- “Client-ready”, professional demeanor with high degree of comfort speaking with clients
- Full-time availability (during regular business hours)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (e.g. green card, work visa, U.S. citizen)
- Ability to commute to and work in our Manhattan office
- Team player who is equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Positive, upbeat attitude with outgoing, friendly personality

Freelance Presentation Consultant
Description of Work:
Work is part-time and project-based typically consisting of 5 to 20 hours of work per project to be completed within 2 to 5 days. Presentations are mostly for sales, marketing, and financing (i.e. “roadshow”) and span all industries.
The objective is to craft a message for the client and to build a compelling presentation through which to communicate that message. The objective is neither to develop strategy nor to solve business problems. Typical work includes creating storyboards (i.e. outlines) replete with visuals for PowerPoint and Motion Graphics presentations and demos. Conceiving the right visuals – though not creating or designing them – to supplement text content is a key task. Other tasks include resequencing slides, rewriting content, scriptwriting, and creating new content (i.e. copy and graphic suggestions). Clients are the primary source of information and will provide raw information from which to craft the presentation. Any research and analysis requirements are extremely limited and relatively unsophisticated.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Degree from leading undergraduate school
- Several years’ as a strategy management consultant or comparable experience
- Experience writing and delivering business presentations
- Ability to think visually and suggest graphics to complement text content
- Ability to telecommute
- “Client-ready”, professional demeanor with high degree of comfort speaking with clients
- Part-time availability including at least partial availability during business hours
- Ideally located in New York City with ability to work on occasion in ProPoint’s offices
